I have been on pain medication for 12 years after 3 prior back surgeries. Dr. Reed did a disc replacement on my L5 S1 and my pain is gone. Even the pain down my leg is gone. I would totally recommend Dr, Reed.
I had severe pain in my cervical neck and found that that at C5-6 and C6-7 there was stenosis and degenerative discs. I couldn't sleep at night due to the pain. I was looking at other possible Doctors and even had discussions with the Mayo Clinic about my issues. In the end I did see Dr. Reed and I'm glad I chose him to perform ADR (Artificial Disc Replacement). Dr. Reed and his staff work directly and diligently with my insurance company and finally we go it approved. The surgery was performed and it was a success. I can sl... read more
In 2004 I ripped out my S1 L5 and L5 L4 in a car accident. Four other neurologist surgeons prior to dr. Reid wanted to do nothing but give me drugs and postpone surgery. When they suggested surgeries, they only wanted to fuse my back. Dr. Reed surgery of Chartiers disc replacement in 2009 was the best thing that happened to me I was wheelchair-bound and bedridden at that point and was bone on bone. His excellent staff showed true compassion and caring all through the process. He was nothing more
I am now able to do the little things I wasn’t able to do before, like laying down to sitting up pain free, tying my shoes. I’ve almost stopped taking all pain medications! Would recommend to anyone.
I had surgery in 2017 on my L4/5. He went in an cleaned up the area, but caused a lot of scar tissue. Now I am Bone on bone and no other surgeon will touch my back due to the extensive scar tissue. So now I get to deal with the pain for life, instead of a fusion which is needed.
Had a total disc replacement in my neck and haven't had any complaints. I was able to help my family move when I wouldn't have been able to before the surgery.
I came to Dr. Reed with a history of previous spine surgery C2-T12 posterior fusion. I had been experiencing a couple years of increased weakness, pain and times of inability to walk. My previous surgeons had acknowledged that there was compression at L1-L2 but felt that additional surgery was too risky. Dr. Reed seemed confident he could help me and I was at the point where I was willing to take a chance. The surgery was a success. My gait is improving and I'm well on my way to pain free
this is the first time I have felt my feet in 20 years, my Husband says I'm walking straighter than i have in ages.
Dr Reed replaced a disk in my neck, i had fractured a disk that was cutting off the blood flow to my spinal cord. i was in the worst pain of my life. He did a great job, its like night and day. So glad i had a great Dr.
