On March 4, 2020 I had surgery at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Dr. Reed and his very capable assistant Ashton, placed a rod in my back to stabilize my T3 & T4 vertebrates which had suffered a compression fracture on January 17, 2020 after a fall at home on the ice. Dr. Reed was the only person to correctly diagnose my injury. Due to incompetence of St. Luke's Medical Center I had been in horrible agony since the injury date above. After the surgery my pain levels instantly dropped. It is now March 28, 202... read more

Dr. Reed Jr did a remarkable surgery on me YESTERDAY 2-17-2020. Was able to walk. Was able to walk to bathroom. Still in hospital but I had the ADR L5-S1 He’s a great surgeon and great bed side manners. His Nurse Practiciner is very nice oh and beautiful might I add.
Had a great visit. Just wasn’t expecting to hear I needed a L5-S1 disc replacement. I seen some other people has had them and there doing great. Anyone care to share there story with me. I I don’t have an L5-S1 disc. So that’s why the disc replacement and I also have nerve damage.
Stellar results! I had disk replacement surgery of a ruptured disk that was causing significant pain and numbness. Now I am pain and no numbness. The first time in years I am not dealing with chronic pain.
20 yr old injury. Stabbing pain in my brain for 20 yrs. Dr. Reed found the culprit... the vertebrae between C3 and C4. A little laser spine surgery. In and out the same day. No more pain since 5 days after surgery. Welcome to living again. Yeah.
Dr. Reed recently did my carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. I also have a busted disc in my neck that was causing me a great deal of pain that my original pain doctor wanted to operate on first. Dr. Reed suggested that the carpal tunnel surgery might work first. HE WAS RIGHT. After hand surgery the neck pain has been seriously reduced. Dr. Reed is a very highly skilled Surgeon, knows what he is doing and he joked around with me. He is sympathetic to my mental health problems when speaking with me and doing the surgery. ... read more
I was having issues with numbness and tingling going down my left arm and neck pain due to degenerative disc disease. Dr. Reed came highly recommended. During the first visit Dr. Reed was straight forward with what needed to be done (surgery). After my total disc replacement (2-level), I noticed a difference right away. I wasn't having shooting pains or zingers going down my arm and the numbness and tingling was going away. By week 2 no tingling or numbness at all, and in a months time only two zingers down my arm which used... read more
I suffered an injury to my lower back in 2011. I've had 2 prior surgeries on this location (L5-S1) that each worked for a few years. Both surgeries caused me to be out of work for weeks and had corresponding long recovery times. When my disc herniated and compressed my nerve root for the third time, the first doctor I visited strongly recommended a fusion of the L5/S1 vertebrae. I researched my options and found that Dr Reed is one of the leading surgeons in the Midwest who performs artificial disc replacements. I went to vi... read more
