I had a ruptured disc from a work injury in 2018, a local neurosurgeon had went in and instead of fusing it, he removed the disc and left the spine to rub on each other causing extreme damage and my upper spine had slipped off my lower spine and it started to pop and grind causing even more pain and damage. I found Dr. Reed through a horse ferrier who had surgery with him and him being in his late 40’s, he was back to work with oh 6 weeks with no pain at all. Due to the extent of my issue , when I met with Dr Reed, he was un... read more
I was extremely pleased with the results of my back surgery with Dr. Reed. Two small incisions and no real pain afterwards has given me renewed hope!
Dr Reed is wonderful! He performed a disc replacement procedure 5 weeks ago. I could not be more pleased and pain free finally! Definitely recommend him with confidence.
I had a great experience with Dr. Reed and his entire staff, especially Dr. Reed and Kayla (RN). They worked with me to get me in as soon as they could, kept me updated throughout the process, advocated for me, and really took the time to explain my options to me. I am a 35yo that suffered a herniated disc. Surgery was seamless and I am back on my feet! 10/10 recommend.
Dr. Reed replaced 3 Disc's and able to turn my head so much better and very little pain any more. Was nervous about surgery but Dr. Reed and staff thoroughly explained procedure. Would do it again to get these results!!
I was in a car accident, having injuries to my cervical spine, and had dealt with another surgeon for 6 months in excruciating pain. Someone referred me to Dr. Reed who not only performed the surgery I needed, but personally followed up with my wife after I was out, and followed up with me after my post-op weeks later. He is a surgeon, he is brief in his comments, he wants your surgery to be a success, and he follows up when you have questions. I would recommend him to anyone I know for spine surgery.
My experience with Dr Reed went far better than I could've imagined. The surgery went exactly as he said it would and the results are better than I'd hoped.
Progressive 3 year gait limiting pain. Failed Epidural steroids and PT. Offered spinal cord stimulator vs surgery. Minimally invasive surgery L4-5 decompression: in at 6am home 11:30am. Walking unassisted same day, taking Aleve as needed. I’m elated! Shot hoops next day with my grandson. 2nd day walked all around PV art fair, no problems!
Dr. Reed replaced the discs between my C5-C6 and C6-C7. He and the surgical team were absolutely great! The day after my surgery, I had less numbness in my right hand and feet. Reduced grating in my neck and reduced pain. This was my fourteenth surgery; Dr. Reed, the P.A.s and nurses at MISH were superb! I trusted Dr. from the moment I met him.
