He misdiagnosed my husband with IBS for 5 years then finally figured out it was colitis. Recently prescribed steroids for my husbands worsening stomach issues. Two weeks later my husband took himself off of those and during an office visit let Stassen know he was having serious trouble breathing. Stassen gave him a list of specialists to call. An hour later my husband goes to his regular doctor and she tells him to get to the ER. He's diagnosed with advance heart failure. Stassens a joke.
Always professional and pleasant. I've been to him several times, would go to him again, and would recommend him to anyone.
Another incident with unhelpful staff. Said they would call back and did not. Frustrating calling their main line. Either get a direct line or call your patients back.
I found Dr. Stassen himself to be quite competent. I met with him once..... His P.A. Jessica on the other hand is condescending and rude. She is incapable of compassion and frankly find her disingenuous and worthless. I have no trust nor faith in her recommendations of treatment of my care. After 4 visits (3) with the P.A. nightmare, even though I am still very ill, I will be seeking medical care elsewhere.
