My visit have always been the best, What people want today in a physician is a personal interest in their health taking time to listen what their patient has to say. Before medicine is prescribed. I have been a patient with Dr Stassen for several years he is your go to Dr. For me he would be hard to replace hope I never have too
Whenever I meet with Dr. Stassen I come away assured that I am in good hands. My last visit was no different. Dr. Stassen was professional and reassuring and answered my concerns in a way That I could understand. The procedure he recommended for my problem went extremely well I feel better and am grateful for his diagnoses and help. Also, his staff are excellent, kind and considerate. I would definitely recommend Dr. Stassen to my friends and family.
I’ve never had a doctor actively listen to me the way he did. He carefully considered all of my symptoms and timeline before advising. I’ve already recommended him to several friends and family members.
I have been going to this practice for 16 years. The staff are wonderful, so professional and kind. Dr Stassen is also wonderful, very knowledgable. I would recommend Austin Gastro to anyone needing a GI specialist.

I count on Dr. Stassens care to figure out what my problem is. He has proven himself to be totally dedicated to my care, always right about what I need to do, very fast and prioritizes my care just the way anyone would want. He is an amazing doctor and I feel amazingly comfortable and confident in his abilities to diagnose and treat my troubles.
Dr Stassen and especially his staff, while nice individuals, operate their practice poorly – the office priority seems to be staff first, money second, patient care third. For a new patient, I got less than 5 minutes with the doctor and while he took plenty of notes, when I showed up for my ‘scope’ procedure, he only addressed 1 of my 5 problems. I left feeling like I was just another ‘scope job’ on the assembly line of many patients that day.
