I did not have to wait long for my appt. His assistant was very helpful and pleasant as she prepared me for the surgery. Dr Farmer informed me of what to expect that day (surgery on the growth on my cheek) and also that it seemed best to wait and have the second larger growth on my nose removed in hospital as it might require anesthesia. Local anesthesia was given. He first took another tissue sample from the growth on my cheek which confirmed that there was no longer any carcinoma present. Then closed the wound carefully.
