Dr. Wainright is Ohio Greatest Ophthalmologist. Dr. Wainright is thorough with his eye examinations. I went blind in my left eye and half blind in my right eye due to fast growing cataracts. Dr. Wainright did my left eye first. Dr. Wainright talked me through it and during the procedure, I was like excited. I started seeing something and then I saw the complete room. Dr. Wainright is the best Ophthalmologist in Marion! He is always so pleasant, and so informative. Heck of a nice fella, who really cares!! He does not rush through his appointments, and makes sure everything is checked out, and all questions you have, are answered fully, with a complete explanation. He was the one who diagnosed me with Myasthenia Gravis, when I had dealt with issues, off and on, for years! He got the ball rolling, got my blood work done, and sent me a neurologist, once that blood work came back positive. I ... read more

Dr Wainwright is the best. He's very compassionate and takes a personal approach while caring for his patients. 3 times he has called me personally to keep me updated on my procedures. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an opthalmologist.
