Moved to NMB from Charlotte NC. Dr Jackson was highly recommended by our cardiologist in Charlotte and also a friend who goes to him. Found him to be very pleasant. He explained everything in detail. My husband and I could not be more pleased with our new cardiologist. We would highly recommend him to anyone.
I've been a patient of Dr. Jackson since 03/2014. as long as he was associated with Grand Strand Hosipital I never had an issue or complaint. Now that he has move to Mcleod I will not go back. My last visit was horrible. I was left in the exam room for over an hour. No one ever came in. I was walking down the hall to leave when Ipassed Dr Jackson in hall and told him I had been waiting for over an hour. He said the nurse had misplaced my paper work. Never going back to Mcleod.
Dr. Jackson examined me for all of 5 minutes and everything else was administered by his technical staff. Dr. Jackson was not present during the prescribed stress tests, nor did he follow up with a (voluntary) phone call to advise the results. In my opinion, When his nurse returned my call to ask about my test results; I insisted the doctor call me to discuss. He did call and left a voice message. Dr. Jackson is not patient focused..
Excellent caring doctor. Hard to find doctors like Dr. Jackson! Highly recommended.
