I have gone to Dr Jackson for three years now. Absolutely loved him at first as he seemed genuinely concerned and helpful. Slowly he has seemed too “busy” and not taking me seriously about constant PVC’s stating it is anxiety causing them when it is the PVC’s bringing the anxiety on. The PVC’s are now so bad (i have them almost every 5-10 beats) and am experiencing shortness of breath, arm & chest discomfort, and almost blacking out which landed me in ER. After waiting 7 months for my appointment for jan. 27th, They cancelled my appointment and can't get next appointment until Sept., I like Dr. Jackson, but not at that price.....
Listens, easy going, cooperative
i was googling my name and found Dr, jackson from myrtle beach where i am from.. hate that murderers even have their name show up when googled, thats what led me here.... 5 stars haha..
This doctor spends very little time with the patients and is not really available. You are left with nurse practitioners and phone calls from nurses and don't really feel like this doctor has the time of day. He was rushed, spent 5 minute s in the room - and never heard from him again. Did tests - he never ran through any advice or general practices- and I did not feel he was on top of it. I began seeing Dr. Jackson in 2019 after moving from Northern Va where my cardiologist(s) were highly competent. He listened to my history, reviewed my various tests over the years and had up to date tests performed. He cared for my medications and listened to my concerns. His McLeod practice is busy and at times have not been attentive to follow up test and visits but I am very comfortable with Dr. Jackson.
Dr. Jackson has taken care of me for years. He really cares. Always has time to talk and is very calming and comforting. He is my Doctor. I would highly recommend him.
Saved my life
Dr Jackson saved my life! My blood pressure was very, very high (over 200 occasionally) Dr Jackson worked with different meds and finally (yeah) it's perfect !! We have a strong family history of heart disease and he's on TOP of everything.
