Terrible turnover at Hazel Dell office, but reason for my one star is Xylitol. They market all sorts of colorful gums and candies for children. When I asked the manager to put a small card in the display warning that Xylitol is poison for dogs and ingesting even a small amount can kill a dog, the manager refused. I told her I'm not asking to criticize Xylitol, say it's great for kids, but teach them it can kill their dog if shared, manager said, "that's not my problem". Willamette dental has a few really great offices. But others couldn't be worse! I am posting this here. Because they do not have a way to complain anywhere else! Their double standard of cancelation is rediculous. We got canceled for an apt 1 hr before hand. mind you we are nearly that far away. Then we come 10 mins after our apt time. They reschedule and charge you for the apt. I do not see this as reasonable at all. I will not continue care with them after the renewal time. I have had them for years. My one hour appointment to get a temporary crown today turned into 2.5 hours after the goop they use proved to be defective. So, they built one from scratch. Then, after shaping this makeshift crown for half an hour and fitting it for ten minutes, the darn thing broke! I have to give them credit though, even though they were supposed to be going home at 6, they continued trying to do the best job they could until the thing broke at 7. It was unpleasant, but I feel great about their effort.
Dr. Mikyl Rasmussen in Medford, Oregon did a great job with my failed (pretty darn old) #14, and he and the assistant (Simone) got the DOL amalgam job done in 35 minutes. The numb has finally worn off (I hate the numb), and the tooth feels just fine, no sensitivity and had a good lunch :-)
They will rip you off with treatment you didn't get. They all about taking you for every dime you have
Exceptional care!! Amazing in every aspect of dental care. The staff is very friendly and my dentist made sure I was comfortable through my procedure. Every visit has been a good experience from first exam. I highly recommend!!
This was my first visit to Willamette Dental Group and I made a big mistake switching plans. I have a tooth ache and was told I need two root canals and that first the local dentist would start the root canals in two weeks and then in a month and a half I would need to go talk to the specialist that's 130 miles round trip away and make another appointment to have the work done another 130 trip. And who puts the crown on? Another 130 mile trip?. Hire another endodontist for Eugene, Corvallis, Albany area! even Salem would use... read more
