About this business

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit Wildlife Hospital providing quality medical care and rehabilitation for injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife within the Silicon Valley community. Our services are free, but we do rely on donations in order to do the work we do. We are the only facility in South Bay that accepts all species of native wildlife! Through the dedication of over 150 volunteers, we care for over 5,600 birds, mammals and reptiles from over 150 species each year.

A group of people were informed that some beautiful little piglets were available for adoption/rescue only to find out that they had already been killed in a very short period of time before any of us could save them. This is disgusting and sickening. How were they killed? What were the people told who left them here? There should have been a reasonable amount of time to find homes for these sweet babies and how many animals left here suggest the same fate??? Shame on you!!

The feral piglets had a reputable rescue ready to take them in, but you chose to kill them instead! Kill them!!! Why???

I saw the photo of the tiny feral piglets, and am dismayed that you chose to kill them rather than allow them to be adopted out to a reputable pig rescue group that would had spayed/neutered them and found "forever" homes for them, especially when Fish & Wildlife officials had supposedly given permission. I would like you to post that photo and explain why you felt it was necessary to kill the piglets. I really enjoyed going to the WildLife Center. I especially had a great time hearing about the Falconry. Very cool place to visit.
