About this business

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit Wildlife Hospital providing quality medical care and rehabilitation for injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife within the Silicon Valley community. Our services are free, but we do rely on donations in order to do the work we do. We are the only facility in South Bay that accepts all species of native wildlife! Through the dedication of over 150 volunteers, we care for over 5,600 birds, mammals and reptiles from over 150 species each year.

wildlife center The Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley located in Penitencia Creek is just great. It has a clean environment and the employees seem to really care about the animals and getting them a new home. To adopt an animal is not very expensive and the employees look like they know the behavior of each particular animal very well. They know which animal is best for an individual and their facilities are well kept.

It has come to public attention on Facebook this facility feeds one live animal to another in rehabilitation. This practice is unethical, cruel, inhuman and outdated. Wild predators are born with natural born killing instincts that are not taught by humans (more fierce than dogs or cats). With respect to all life, there are alternatives that do not cause the suffering and death of any animal.
