We are a 501(c)3 non-profit Wildlife Hospital providing quality medical care and rehabilitation for injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife within the Silicon Valley community. Our services are free, but we do rely on donations in order to do the work we do. We are the only facility in South Bay that accepts all species of native wildlife! Through the dedication of over 150 volunteers, we care for over 5,600 birds, mammals and reptiles from over 150 species each year.

A duck hatched seven ducklings in my backyard. Next morning they moved to a nearby creek, but one duckling got lost and returned to our pool. We searched the creek, even saw a coyote, but failed to find his family. The little duckling was healthy but lonely and needed company. Next day I went online and found this wildlife center. Jenny who answered the phone and did the paperwork later was very nice. Her saying that they had two ducklings of similar age convinced me to bring him in. She provided the record number for inquir... read more
Excellent place to find help for orphaned wild creatures. The staff is very nice and caring.
My son has wanted to work with wildlife for as long as I can remember. We discovered WCSV last year, and he wasn't yet old enough to volunteer. On his birthday this year he filled out the application, and he has been volunteering for almost two months now. WCSV is truly like a family. Everyone is very warm, welcoming, and appreciative of the volunteers. They do amazing work, and their inclusiveness of all learning types and styles has been nothing short of miraculous. I'm seeing amazing, positive changes in my son and it's d... read more
100% recommend this center. You wouldn’t believe the amount of work and care that goes on 7 days a week. Every single staff member is dedicated to saving/rehabbing/ and releasing every single animal that comes through. Even if it’s just a telephone call, the center is there to guide the community through the process with injured wildlife. I am so thankful our community has access to this kind of facility.
This is a great wildlife rescue .Have taken injured wildlife there several times . ..they even contact me when they re-release the animal and let me know how they did. if anyone ever comes across an injured bird opossum or other wildlife this is the place to go.
So grateful for the fabulous team at WCSV for being so professional on the phone and wonderful in person. Through clear and calming communication they walked me through bringing motherless ducklings, recently hatched in my backyard, to their organization. I highly recommend using them and following their instruction. I feel so relieved that the baby ducks will be safe and cared for.
A haven where wildlife is taken great care by the wonderful humans.
They are very prompt and friendly. Thank you for providing our community with this service. Kim Baker
They were open on a Sunday with open arms for the orphaned baby 🐿 squirrel to care for it and they’re even going to give me an update on it later if I want to follow up with it’s status.
