Everyone was friendly but you just get on a bus, look through some windows, go to the Rick house, look it's a Rick house, watch a video of Matthew whatever his name is tell you how it's so great then you go taste it and get a glass. It's not very informative compared to other tours I've been on. The only interesting piece on info we heard was when someone was asking a question on the way back to the bus and it was in passing about the black fungus that was growing on all the wood. If you're in the area and have time or need ... read more
Great tour. Lots of history to absorb. Tasting was excellent and we were given a souvenir glass to boot!
Great visit, beautiful facility, friendly people, great bourbon, intriguing history and we got to meet Master Distiller Jimmy Russell who signed out bottles. Glad we made the trip.
Had a perfect experience !! I'd been there before with family and got to take my boyfriend this time and it couldn't of been better, perfect fall weather, we were the only ones on the tour so it felt very private and got to ask anything , tasting was yummy and everyone working there was friendly and felt like talking to a friend. We even got to met jimmy himself and got a bottle signed !!
Joanne was an amazing tour guide. Seriously one of the best experiences I have had.
We were the first and only people on the first tour of the day. The tour guide was super friendly and kept the tour interesting. The tastings were even better and suckered me into purchasing a personalized private label. Lol If your doing the Bourbon Trail this is a must stop.
What's not to like about Bourbon making? The visitor center sits on the river with a stunning view, the scent of bourbon and char in the air and the rustle of the wind through the trees. Our tour guide was both informative and entertaining, you are surrounded by bourbon barns and you finish your visit with a tasting of four different samples of Turkey. Great way to spend a couple of hours!!! Don't forget your passport stamp!
We visited Wild Turkey as a stop on the Bourbon Trail. Neither my husband or I are a fan of the Bourbon, but we wanted to participate. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable, but spoke to length about her getting drunk! I would think they would want to teach responsibility.
What an amazing experience! Bubba gave us the best tour ever! He was so knowledgeable and shared so much with us. We had such an fantastic start to our bourbon run tour at Wild Turkey. It really set the mood for my husbands birthday vacation. Another interesting fact, about 15 minutes into the tour I realized I lost my wallet. Bubba immediately radioed the team, found it, and it was returned safely to my possession. Can't say enough wonderful things about Bubba and the Wild Turkey staff! Thank you for the extraordinary time.... read more
