Probably the highlight of the trip that weekend. The brief moment that I spoke to Jimmy Russell from wild turkey as he was leaving the Tour building that sunday. Perhaps because he made me think of my father that I miss terribly. Anyway someday he will be where my father is. And I will be forever grateful with every sip of wild turkey that I got to say good day to this fine gentleman.
An absolutely wonderful place to visit. They had a great staff and for $10 you get a tour, tasting, and a souvenir glass. Highly recommended.
Great tour. Master Distiller Jimmy Russell was in the gift shop. Generous man, charming, signed my bottle of Rare Breed. Amazing facility. Good people. Beautiful scenery.
