Went to this lil bakery yesterday!! such a great addition to the happy holler
The baked goods are from Heaven. You can taste that the ingredients are high quality and that everything is made thoughtfully and with love. The coffee is perfection. Old City Java was the very first coffee shop I stopped at on my first visit to Knoxville. I immediately fell in love, so when I heard about this place, I knew. I just knew.
Everything is so good. The coffee is incredible (I recommend the cortado). The croissant makes you think you are in France. The tarts are decadent. And the service is so friendly.
I had a Chai Tea and a cranberry oat scone. Staff are very nice.
I've tried many, many things here and have never been disappointed. Everything is so tasty. The employees are charming and easy with their smiles even when the line is long. The cafe miel is my favorite drink, next to the bottled rose lemonade. Great sitting arrangement and atmosphere, too. Always playin' the good tunes.
