Amazing! – This place is a jewel! On their menu they share their philosophy, which is that they want customers to feel free to sit for as long as they want, and order as little or was much as they want. I went with a good friend and we sat for a couple hours, had some wonderful spicey sangria, and the most decadent chocolate truffle cake and tiramisu I have every tasted. I would go back in a heartbeat, don't pass miss this Belmont treasure!
So-So – Moral of the story: choose carefully. Friend ordered pork w/ apple balsamic reduction that was wonderful. My cioppino seafood stew left much to be desired, as did the shrimp/crab cake appetizer. All of the pasta dishes on the other tables looked wonderful, however. Wines by the glass need some serious help, especially the wine from "Chili" [sic]. Atmosphere was a little too Southeast for our taste, and we love SE.
Servers with Wild Abandon – Great service, groovy atmosphere, hip servers, funky fun place to dine, definetely a Portland feelin restaurant. YUM YUM!
