Let's start with the location and front desk staff. Both excellent. Location was in the heart of everything. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and attentive and booked excursions for us with no hesitation. However, the rooms were a whole other experience. They appeared clean unless you moved a piece of furniture....then dust balls came a rolling out. The decorations and furniture were very outdated. The shower/tub was an old jet tub I haven't seen in a decent priced hotel in quite a while. The water pressure...well good... read more
From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. The location is absolutely unbeatable – right on Duval Street, in the heart of all the action, yet still peaceful and relaxing once inside the property. The ladies at the reception were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Parking was easy too: you can stop directly in front of the guesthouse to unload your luggage, and they kindly point out the best spots nearby – either free street parking or at the guesthouse itself.
