Poor financial management. Almost no original program. WHYY has been living off Terry Gross for 35 years. William Mazzazzo has done nothing and stations in smaller markets such as Boston, Minneapolis and Austin produce more nationally broadcast shows. Fred Sutherland says that William Marrazzo deserves $750,000/year because has a "very, very strong record of accomplishment." Just what has he accomplished? No programming, that's for sure.
