What would Pittsburgh be without wholeys...if you like fish, then this place is heaven to you. My personal staple is bronzini. I have them gutted and scaled and then take those bad boys home to prepare any way we feel like at the time. Heads on, of course... Gotta have the cheeks. You can find it all there. Tons of salmon choices and great variety of fresh and frozen.
Andy's Sushi Bar is my favorite! Fast service, good price, and great quality food! YUM! :)
This is my story, short and sweet: I had not been able to find my favorite fish ( Porgies) for just about three years, since I moved to a different state. I had been looking online periodically and almost gave up until I came across Wholey's ! Not only did they have fresh porgies, they also suggested another fish which I also decided to try ! A few days later, a box was at my front door and I have been in frying bliss ever since ! The fish was packed perfectly, fresh, cold and secure ! I am a satisfied new customer !
