It is always a great time whenever the kids and i shop here.
Prices have gone up with the increase in crowds, not a good combination. I can get seafood at this price anywhere now and I hope they realize that. Quality of raw fish is still A1 but my fish sandwich the last two times hasn't been as good as years past.,especially the buns , which were stale. Wholey has been great for many years , I hope they review some things

I was disappointed. No oysters, clams, or calamari on Christmas Eve. I expected a more. Was told some fryers (Not ALL) were down. Eh, maybe. Unimpressed with the lack of interest to please a customer. The fish was good, just not what I wanted.
You walk in the market and there is Andy at the sushi station! He is the best and a Pittsburgh institution! Wholey's has all the seafood you could want. Wholey's is tradition the minute you walk in!
Shared a Icelandic Cod fried fish sandwich on a Mancini bun with my sister. It was so good, just how I remembered. We also had a small order of smelts and butterflied fried shrimp also very good.
I love this place. It is worth the 2 hour drive.
