Stuck in the worst hospital. Put me in a corner and left me alone. Didn't get served water til 12 hours after admitted. Had a fear induced panic attack because of the woman in the next bed was screaming and being violent. They won't allow visitor cuz of COVID so I'm completely utterly alone and there's been NO BED SIDE BANNER HERE. Avoid GREATER EL MONTE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL at all costs. Get Kaiser Permanente. It's worth the extra dollars. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU
My grandfather is a non covid patient at Whittier Hospital Medical Center. They are not allowing visitors to see him even though he is end of life. Administrators please help me, your nurse supervisor, Diana, isn't coming out to update us after she said she would come and what she is saying is against your own policies. My great aunt today was just brought in by ambulance due to an emergency. Let’s say she was found on the floor, incoherent. Due to covid-19 policies in place, no one is allowed to be with her and with the SIP, all we can do is go home. It’s a good 25 minute drive. The only method of contact is via phone. The ED was not busy at all when she was checked in, so a phone call an hour later just to check on her status should be no problem. RecommendedIn 1997 I had a car accident when someone cut me off on the freeway... I woke up in ER... the staff was incredible! I especially recall a male nurse named Jaime that I never was able to thank. I was not able to see, my eyes were full of glass. Doctor Aronowitz arrived the next day for my surgery and decided not to remove my left eye, thanks to my Son and his father arriving from Chicago.
Too many OSHA AND HIPAA violations. I will leave it at that.
RecommendedToday I’m being discharged, after 5 days. I had major surgery and the staff was so wonderful to me and my husband, they let him stay with me and I had my own room. The nurses spoiled me, took great care of me, the CNAs were very attentive too! Dr. Purdom is knowledgeable, caring and amazing! Everyone is very friendly from the security guards to housekeeping... what a blessing to have this Hospital so close to home too! Thank you so much for all you do.
