Such a fun day with the Wheelhouse crew. We loved discovering downtown, especially Sister Pie and the Dequinder Cut. We had a private tour and would recommend it to any group.
Was a great fun day, pricing was great value compared to other rental equipment downtown! Great and even a little cardio! We pokemon hunted and was very very good fun!
Since 2014 I've been recreationally biking on a little more serious note than before. I'm typically averaging around 2000 miles per season. During my downtown Detroit forays I frequently will stop by Wheelhouse to make a small purchase, see what's new, or to even just put more air in my tire. I've also on three or four occasions brought (or met there) someone who needed to rent a bike. The staff, and professionalism at Wheelhouse had always been top flight. Have done many over the years...yesterday, the art tour was great..amazing guide , full of knowledge and great weather in Detroit....i continue to recommend these tours ...or just rent a bike !!!
I have done two previous tours with Wheelhouse Detroit. I had suggested to a friend to book a tour with me. We booked months in advance. My father has been sick for the last year with esophageal cancer. His feeding tube came out the day before the tour. I had to drive my father to a specialty hospital to correct this serious problem. Unfortunately my friend and I did not make it to the tour. She did not feel comfortable going by herself.
