I love being a member and supporting this store because Ames and surrounding communities benefit from shopping here. Here in Ames I visit Wheatsfield and love to pride myself on choosing options without any packaging by buying in bulk or bringing my produce bags! Another great aspect of cooperatives is the large amount of local produce that can be found without having to visit a farmers market!

Had a poor experience ordering a sandwich from the prepared food counter. The tempeh Rueben can be made vegan by request so my wife and I asked for two of them while in the store yesterday. One was already prepared vegan and so the other one had to be made vegan.
