About this business

This European-style cafe in One Pacific Place is well known for its crepes, omelettes, casseroles and decadent desserts. The lunch and dinner menus are very similar; however, the dinner menu also offers pastas and steaks. Try one of the sumptuous cheese, meat or dessert fondues or a crisp Salad 103. Be sure to save room for dessert. With more than 50 to choose from, you may need to save room for several. The Alpine Torte Cake, a mix of chocolates and cream, is fantastic.

Recently ordered 3 breakfast trays for a large party. 25 of the 50 people came down with food poisoning. One of the people had to go to the ER and it was confirmed to be food poisoning. Doing the math and tracking it was apparent that one of the dishes from Wheatfields was the culprit. Upon calling the management we were dismissed and told that the flu was going around. This was after the above stated facts were given to him. He also when on to feign disbelief by noting that there was nothing in the dish that could cause foo... read more

Terrible customer service from management and the owner when we contacted them with the issue. I don't care if bad customer service is your policy, you won't be getting my money ever again for not refunding a stupid $5 dessert on a $70 check. Way to take advantage of young people and not follow suit with any other of your competitors. I love supporting local businesses, but you should probably reconsider your policies if you want to keep customers.

I came with 3 friends & have never been more offended or embarrassed at a restaurant. I am vegan & politely asked the waitress to help me select an item on the menu that might fit my needs. We decided on the portobello sandwich but she wasn't sure if the bun had dairy so she went to ask. She came back & stated that not only would they be unable to accommodate me but got "yelled at" by Ron for trying to help me. She was instructed to point out a statement on the front of the menu to me that says something to the effect that "... read more

Our baseball team plus families just ate at Wheatfield's and the entire visit was great! There was about 35 of us with no reservation. Customer service was top notch, food was quick AND delicious. Kudos to Kay, Melissa and the other servers! Plus I left with a few bakery items to go! A fan of Wheatfield's!

Here's a little story about Wheatfields: A woman comes in to eat. She is seated by a young host/ess, the woman asks, "Who will be my server today?" When the host/ess replies, the lady asks, " who is that? I don't know her." The server is pointed out- and the lady states, " oh- you will have to move me, I don't want a black person waiting on me." The young host/ess replies, "Ma'am, if you are that racist- you can move yourself." The owner fired the host/ess because of this. Wheatfields- you suck.

I just love this place. I've lived in Omaha for 5 years and had heard about this place after we had a retirement party that our company bought their amazing Strawberry Wedding cake for. I've been hooked ever since. I use any holiday/birthday to make a trip out there to buy a cake or one of their fantastic pastries. To eat there, tends to be tough - only because there is so much to choose from. And it's all good and in the numerous times I've gone/ordered take out - I've never had a bad experience.

Totally worth the wait. We love to get breakfast there. They have great hearty egg dishes and they have gluten free cinnamon rolls that are incredible!
