My favourite bagel spot in town, I'll come up from downtown just to hit this spot.
It is important to note that not all What A Bagel locations are created equal. While the brand name is widespread, the quality varies significantly between franchises. I previously tried one of their downtown locations and was not at all impressed; the experience was forgettable enough that I wouldn't go back. This is it!!! I’ve been to a lot of bagel spots, and What A Bagel in the Spadina village is on another level. You walk in and immediately see the ovens working. Bagels coming out fresh, nonstop. These aren’t sitting around. They’re warm, properly made on the spot, and sooo good. What really stands out is the selection …wow! It’s not just bagels.
