We were looking for a local place to take our rescue dog and based on reviews from friends decided to go to Westside. We didn't have an appointment and they welcomed us in as a new customer. They took great care of our dog and we are grateful to find a vet close to home.
Great service. They explained the treatment plan. A tech called us the next day with results and the vet even called the following week to discuss the results.
My dogs have gone nowhere else their entire lives. The doctors and staff are always honest, sweet, loving to my fur babies and geniually care. They take time to listen to and explain the dogs health needs to me. Love this place.

After my chiweenie was attacked by a German shepherd, I rushed him into Westside for medical care. Dr. Vanderford was amazing. He was very informative, thoroughly explaining our options and giving us excellent advice. Also he was so very gentle and good with my Gizmo, keeping him calm and comfortable. Dr. Vanderford has a patient for life :)
Recently my Sheltie, Sophie, required surgery. Dr Vanderford was a recommended surgeon and I chose him to care for my girl. He did a wonderful job and I knew I had made the right decision. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Although his skills are excellent, his kindness and patience are even more admirable.
