I have been a faithful repeat Westmed patient for over 10 years. Since the merger to Summit Health, everything has gone downhill. The new portal is extremely outdated and the billing team is the worst. I paid off a bill last year and somehow it reappeared in my account and states it’s now in collections. I used to suggest Westmed highly but I hate it now. Never going back.

We absolutely love this practice! Our child has been with Dr. Kopple since he was just six days old, and we couldn’t ask for a better doctor. She is thorough, kind, compassionate, patient, and truly excellent at what she does. She has such a warm and reassuring way about her. The lab at this practice is also phenomenal. Getting blood work done on a child is never easy, but they make the experience as smooth and gentle as possible. This review is about an appointment I had at WestMed (now Summit Health) over 1 years ago. I used to go to their urgent care for small emergencies and never had issues, so when I realized they also had primary care, I booked a PCP appointment. I scheduled in December, but the first available wasn’t until April. I waited because they already had all my info, and it was easier than starting somewhere else. Came in very sick and had to wait an hour to be seen with only one patient before me who was waiting over two hours. Ran two tests on me and called me two days later to say I had “nothing”. No further testing, no prescriptions, blood work or at least a referral to find out what I had. Worst experience at a Doctor’s office, trying to make easy money on people’s insurances by not even doing the bare minimum. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Trying to book a appointment for a Neurologist. I was told the "next available date" was 9/3/3025... not available, 9/22/2025.. booked... not available... 9/24/2025 booked... not available. The customer service reps are clueless!!! DO NOT USE WEST MED
