Move here if you like extremely racist management, leasing office that is in your personal business, staff entering your apartment without authorization or a work order, having your jewelry stolen by maintenance, being gossiped about by the staff in front of other tenants, s***** security, your car vandalized and my favorite the shootings, They do LOVE to take your money though! I live in ***********, San *****, one of the Holland group properties. The management here is the most clumsiest apartment I've ever met and the worst at work. In particular, a woman named *****, the manager, doesn't go to work often and doesn't work properly even though it's not lunchtime. I rent at a Holland property in San *****, ***************. This place is terribly managed. The workers dont care about the trash in the hallways, the smell, the ***** littered sidewalks and dog run. They let the other tenants do whatever they want and think posting a sign in the elevator will improve things while they sit at the desk all day on instagram and do nothing. Do not rent from this company. They will do nothing while you pay luxury prices for terrible service and ghetto living.
The customer service you get here especially from *** is s*** Anytime you need help or ask anything all you get is attitude and rudeness, you 100% dont feel welcome here and I strong advise anyone from ************. Also I had my parking permit fall off my car and my car got towed when I didnt park under my cart port, costed $400 to get it out and I tried talking to the leasing office and all I got was attitude. I moved into a brand new/never lived in Holland Partners "luxury" property (Lydian, in *******, **) and within 3 months my brand new washing machine and dishwasher broke. In that same time there was also an ant infestation that management ignored until it got so bad that I had to throw out an entire cabinet of food (mind you, my apartment is clean), I found an ant in my bed and one got to my dog causing a reaction where he lost half the fur on his face and now has to wear a cone until it heals. Two months after the COVID-19 lock-down started, I was laid off. My lease was due to expire a month later, and so I planned to go month-to-month for a couple of months until I was able to figure out my personal financial situation. Holland offered me a new lease with a $100/month increase in rent (my current monthly rent was $1,340). However, if I didn't sign the lease, they said they would raise my rent by $800/month!! This property needs new management. I received a chemical burn in the hot tub. The buildings front door is broken. And the elevator is usually broken, I was stuck in it for almost an hour. Did they make me feel as if they cared one bit Nope.Also they give some tenants a 6 week no pay deal and others they simply do not. I don’t think it’s a complete waste of a building, it just needs more tenant focused employees. And to be fare when giving rent concessions.
I am filing this complaint in regards to being asked to sign documents in a fraudulent manner by Holland Residential, and having housing denied when I refused. I toured a home on Monday August 24th.
