In 1969, James(Jim) R. McGeachin opened an AAMCO Transmission franchise on Skyline Drive. Jim was dedicated to providing quality transmission service with an honest reputation. After four months with the franchise Jim decided he wanted more flexibility in servicing his customers and decided to become independent and Western Transmission was born. Friendly staff and helpful when I need parts.
We brought a car into Western Transmission for them to perform diagnostics at a cost of $45. Come to find out they went ahead and authorized the work to be done without our permission and at a cost of almost $300. We will never use this company again.
I have been coming to Western Transmission for 3 years now. I have 3 different vehicles, they have always been honest, fair & on time. I will recommend them to anyone who askes about transmission or transfer case service.
