I’m sad to say that our experience with GRMC has continued to be a negative one over the past several years. While the doctors and nurses work hard to treat the patients, they apparently do not get the final say. It seems like the insurance companies and the case managers hold all of the power, and they rule with little compassion and consideration for the patient. RecommendedI had surgery on my great toe yesterday and as an RN of 46 years, I can say all of the staff in PACU and the surgery team were very professional and personable. Dr. Charles Ginn (no relation) performed the surgery and as always he was great. From the moment we set foot in the door, we felt welcome, even with the COVID19 restrictions. RecommendedOn 9/6 I was involved in a freak accident that caused me to break my ankle, foot, and heel and had to go to an Emergency Room. I am from out of town so I wasn’t familiar with the hospitals. I’m so grateful that the paramedics decided to take me to this hospital! The nurses were wonderful along with the radiology dept and doctors! Dr. Mott was the ER physician caring for me and he was so nice and incredibly attentive! RecommendedI just had Knee Surgery yesterday. I was treated extremely well by all the staff and nurses. And Dr Lett is an awesome surgeon. Thanks to all the nurses and anesthetic. Always better to have people who genuinely care about their patients. 9/22/2020.

My husband went in for xrays/cat scan and never came out. Do not go to this hospital.
This applies to the imaging department and billing. I had an MRI in May, when I tried to pay my copay the computers were down so she said we’ll bill you. I completely forgot about it until I got a notice from a collection agency 4 months later, never got a call or a bill from Crestwood, they just turned it over to collections. It seems to me that if the system is down, you’d make notes about who came in that day as a reminder.

RecommendedI had a sleep study performed earlier this month and had a great experience. Granted, this is my place of employment but, I still feel I was given great care regardless of that fact. The Sleep Center staff are so nice and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. I will definitely return for a follow up study as needed!
