My husband was a patient at this facility and we have had no luck getting his bill resolved. It has been sent to collections that we found out about after getting an alert from the credit bureaus. We were assured it was refiled correctly, to now find out its recorded as a self pay. My husband has insurance and shouldn't have to worry about a bill that your company fails to notify anyone about. There are laws against this, and we have sent letters to have gone unresponsive. Nobody should have to worry about a bill they do not... read more

Every time I have ever gone to East Georgia Regional Medical Center, I always have problems with their billing. The care there will depend on the type of day the personnel is having and you will find you will run into multiple problems because billing is separated between the physicians and the facility. Trying to get a hold of anybody so you can make proper payments before they send it to collections is very difficult. I absolutely do not recommend going there. I dropped off my 20 year old daughter at the ER for compulsive vomiting of black and green vomit. Meaning she's vomiting old blood and bile. Due to covid I am not allowed in the waiting room, I understand. My daughter is moaning and crying in pain, and can hardley walk on her own.
