I had an abscess in a very discrete place and never once felt uncomfortable. The registration person was as nice as could be and thought I was funny. My in take nurse was very pleasent and even though she for got my warm blanket it did not matter. I made do with my gown and dress. When she discovered that she never brought it, she apologised and got me one right away. The second nurse was nice enough to hold my hand and keep me entertained during this awful procedure. Even though it took longer than normal to get a room once my roommate was admitted, they got him in & treating him within 5 minutes of arriving. That wasn't the case later in the day & they were doing their best to treat patients in the lobby when they had no more room in the ER. Of course they have to treat patients in the order of urgency, not in order of arrival & some folks didn't like that. But throughout the 14hrs we were there, all but 2 of the staff were outstanding. Thank you.
I have been a patient there many times and triage there rocks but a certain dr Treiman has always done nothing but look st me and with a blank stair what do u want me to do. As if I'm the dr and his nurse apprentice kristh somthing kinda smirking as if I am a druggie or something I have a rear terminal disease called Fabry and I am on dialysis which I go to havasu for my dr sent me to warmc to have my infected port removed they laughed me out the building I felt like they don't care. Staff were great food was scrap I kept asking for Rice Krispys.
I used to dread having to go past the ER; you Just never knew how you were going to be treated on the floors. However, I am singing the praises of the 2nd floor/Telemetry Unit. If you want to test a nurses' attitude, put on your call light during shift change. Have a 'need' while it is report time. I am blessed to be assigned to the MOST AWESOME NURSES. I'm in good hands.
My first experience with WARMC has been through Senior Circle. A top notch health and well being club for Seniors. My second was volunteering in the WARMC was volunteering in the gift shop. Management and employees alike made me feel like my efforts were truly appreciated. Next came a tour on Love Your Heart Day and I requested a referral from my Dr to work out in Cardio Rehab. Once I arrived at check in things moved quickly. They took me into the treatment room right away and as a team they worked quickly to get my situation under control. Even the CT Scan was done within the first hour being there. Excellent care throughout my time there.
