RecommendedMy father was in the Burn Unit at this hospital in 1993 unfortunately he did not make it. Then in 2002 my I had a son 3 months early and he was life flighted to this hospital also where he never had a bad day. The nurses were absolutely amazing and he was so little at 2 lbs 15 ozs. Today he is a senior at Southern Local High School playing football and wrestling and getting ready for the next part his his life to begin. Thanks to West Penn and their Neo Natal Center!
Because they have really good drs there i had surgery here at West Penn Hospital and they were really good to me couldn’t ask for better drs
First, the hospital can improve by punishing those who dressed up newborn babies as Wizard Of Oz characters without the parents' permission. And second, they can improve by punishing any nurse who lies to a patient's offspring.
Having worked there for four years I saw the level of professionalism and genuine caring every day. Yesterday was the first time there with a family member receiving treatment. There is no better place to be.

Thank you to the labor and delivery staff, mother/baby staff and dietary staff. You guys are on the ball and really go above and beyond. You really care about what you do and it shows. Had a wonderful experience with the delivery and stays after both of my children. You guys rock! The EVS department could use some work. Emptied my trash but didn’t put new bags in. Left trash in bins that was under the bags from previous patients and I had to keep asking for more toilet paper and paper towels because they were not restocking.... read more
