start by treating people like people, and not telling them their cries of anguish are annoying
RecommendedEverything! I hate to say it, but it was almost like I was on a vacation (I know weird, aye). But from the time I woke up after surgery until my discharge, I have nothing but good things to say. I had not one negative experience. From Dr. Van Duesen, to the nurses, especially a lady named Shamika, to the food. YES, the food...I had to spend over 3 mths visiting my mom there back in the 90's, my Daddy and I would always eat there. Plus, when I would take him to Oakland VA, we would stop there--they had the best mac-n-cheese!
they saved my life and the most of the staff was helpful and a few where more then helpful lifesaving the way took care of me I'll be forever grateful

Commented on how I was treated at the emergency room and that I was still in pain, and all they said was call patient relations
My dad was lifeflighted to AGH to the Neo ICU, while we were there half of the nurses where very rude and disrespectful and had no empathy what so ever for my Dad or my Mom his wife that was also going through alot. The one nurse on floor actually got rude with her for visiting him and saying Goodnight and ask her"Didnt you already say goodnight thought you were leaving!" I was admitted to neuro ICU and everybody was wonderful and so caring. ER nurses as and Dr.s were awesome. Highly recommend.
they have the best doctors and surgeons that give excellent care
