Nothing like having a horrible situation and wait in the ICU and then have to use a dirty bathroom. Have some respect!
I moved from Arizona to Pittsburgh a little over a year ago. I been to Allegheny hospital and admitted to the hospital twice for heart problems The nurses and doctors was very polite. I didn't care much for CNA's at night that I had. There language toward each other was very disturbing.
The absolute worst hospital in the city. Never go here! Nasty, disrespectful staff, substandard care, out dated equipment, and dirty disgusting rooms. They should have this shit hole shut down the first time it went bankrupt.
Based on several experiences with other hospital systems and surgeons within the past 3-4 years, Allegheny General is by far the best.
I would NEVER go to Allegheny General! They divulge information about patients against HIPPA regulations from the 6th floor nursing station! If you call and complain with a POA in hand and they have, they still give information out and when you bring it to their attention they claim a terminally ill patient is magically cured and try to discharge them without any equipment like a bedside toilet, wheelchair, or anything else when a patient is total care--DON'T PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS PLACE--They medicate them for pain when... read more
Omg, they are the nicest staff ! They were packed, but kept smiling ! Very very nice !
I would not recommend any one going to this hospital I was treated so badly it's unreal a dr told me talking to me for 15 was a waste of her time like I wasn't a patient and bc I have had Medical issues since I was an infant was basically treated like a fein it was the worse experience I've ever had at a hospital I would highly recommend UPMC over this hospital to anyone
