When Cathy and Krista hatched the idea for their business back in 1999, they were inspired by the growing vibrant neighborhoods of West Asheville and the need for community-oriented walkable businesses. They both share a passion for healthy eating and a commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere where families and neighbors can relax. Everything served at the West End is made from scratch, and whenever possible we use locally grown produce and organic products. Come for breakfast and stay for lunch!

The food is good. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is very very slow. We had to wait an hour for toast.
I love this place!! Not only is the bread the best in the AVL, but their people are awesome too!! The owners are hands on, and the staff is amazing. Don't be discouraged by the line, it goes way quicker than any sandwich stop shop in town!! They do run out, so get there early. Fast wifi too.. if you are looking to get some work knocked out while enjoying a good sammY!!
Omg... I've only tried their Baguettes thus far, and they were amazing. Best baguette in Asheville hands down
