Took my eldest son for the basic lesson and it was great! Very educational and interesting. We worked with a Harris hawk named "Cowboy" and he was amazing! He flew to each of us with no hesitation. We highly recommend visiting as it was really a one of a kind experience.
Very good experience -definitely a hands on experience that can be enjoyed by all.
The people here were very nice and welcoming, giving a lot of information about these beautiful birds and the history. It was a little intimidating at first when you put on the big heavy glove. Definitely interested in going back for the longer Hawk Walk they offer.
We had an amazing time of learning and adventure! Can't wait to go back for a more in-Depth course.
This place is absolutely amazing, staffed by people who are knowledgeable and passionate. I brought my daughter, and it was a fun, fascinating experience. Definitely coming back. If you are looking for something different to do, West Coast Falconry is it!!
My niece and I went to the Falconry this past weekend and loved the experience. We found it on Groupon, but enjoyed the birds and staff so much we stayed for the Owl experience as well. We are hoping to go back in the spring and do the extended experience (3hrs). This is a must do for anyone who loves animals, Mother Nature, and learning about both.
What a wonderful experience! Learned so much and had a blast doing it! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on this age old sport.
