This was such a fantastic experience. we did the beginning class with a Harris Hawk, Avalon. The educational aspect of learning about birds of prey, how they hunt in the wild, what happens in rehab, we're just part of this experience taught by two very knowlegeable young ladies. And then the experience of watching them fly and landing on my fist was awesome. I am so happy I did this. Thank you West Coast Falconry making this available to others.

We met West Coast Falconry, and their hawks Diego & Mariposa, during a hands on experience at Bouchaine Vineyards. An exciting and educational adventure in which we learned about the use of Falconry as bird abatement in the vineyards from the knowledgeable and friendly West Coast Falconry team. We were given numerous opportunities to work directly with the hawks up top a hill, with 360 degree views, in the Bouchaine vineyard. My first time there and it was just so awesome! I really enjoyed it there. The experts were very informative and taught me a lot. It was a very pleasant experience. I plan on visiting again soon. I loved beautiful Avalon.
What a wonderful experience! The two girls that taught our group were very knowledgeable. We learned about the birds on a personal level, got to have them fly to us, pictures while holding the birds and a demonstration of their flying abilities. I definitely understand more and have a greater respect for these beautiful creatures. The whole feeling of this place is one of caring.
