If you need to have labs drawn I would go to Kennestone or Vinnings health park. The lab here is always backed up and slow! Wait time of over 30 minutes on most days, today it’s over 50 minutes. Other locations have a 5-15 minute wait, I’m not sure what the issue is at acworth if it’s incompetent staff, lack of management or both. This is one of the worst labs I have used in the Welstar system. After they make you wait for excessively long times, they drew the wrong labs and had to redraw them.

A "quick look" and a "quick fix" is the opposite of caring for a patient. Not one doctor cares enough to do anything about pain. Not one doctor cares enough to look at the big picture. It's all about covering things up and pushing the blame. "We don't give pain medicine" is an absolute B.S. statement. Being inpatient is even worse! You are better off suffering at home and in pain than to be here and be told that it is "all in your head" by professionals who don't care about quality.

Do not come to this hospital ER I waited to be seen 3 plus hours and when I expressed my sentiments to my nurse in a manner that I understood it was not his fault but to let someone know upstairs. He just kept saying they only had so many beds and all of Paulding was here tonight although he apologized I didn’t feel much empathy at all. Terrible service from the nursing staff. However the Doctor that I finally saw was great.
