I have had my funds invested with Wells Fargo for the past few years and was a member of the Private Bank. I was treated very well while I was in the Private Bank, but it's been a crash landing to try to leave. In November of 2018 I decided to move my funds to Personal Capital to save 0.4% on the monthly investment fees (was 1.2% but will be 0.8% at Personal Capital). Wells Fargo Advisors Solutions account for minors will not let my grand daughter close the account after she reached the age of 21. They claimed she had to have a guardian sign for her. The guardian on record pass away 6 years ago. The law states she does not need a guardian. After double talk and several calls no results after 2 years.
I've been a Wells Fargo customer for over a decade. Wells Fargo unauthorized my account for their "e BillPay" Service in Jan 2018. In Jan 2018 my account was hacked. The hacker added their fraudulent contact information to my account and was able to download my information. The hacker also wired money using Wells Fargo eBillPay service to their account. I have a student loan through wells fargo that I pay days early monthly and some how I end up with late fees monthly! I would never do business with this company again. Horrible horrible business practices and treatment of customers.
Hello my name is *******. I’ve been trying to reach a supervisor with the brokerage department and playing a game of phone tag. I’m disappointed in the service given to me by Wells Fargo and as a long time customer I’m debating on changing banks. In 2 days (Aug 22 & Aug 23) I spoke to 7 Advisors' representatives and spend hours on the phone being transferred back and forth simply trying to link an account. Last 5 representatives told me 5 different stories (each giving new explanation) why I cannot link my account. I received 2 trial deposits from Advisors but was not able to enter them in on their website to complete verification, hence had to call for help. One of the last things we have done after my father died was to check with Wells Fargo Advisors on the stocks my dad had. I have attempted to take some of my own money out for 7 days now. I have had to email, fax, and call for 5 out of the 7 days. I still do not have my money from my cash account! I have Treasury Bill that is being held by Wells Fargo Bank. The Bill is not equity but I am being charged an equity service charge that has increased over the years and it is now out of control! About 12.5% I understand that I must pay for a management service but the cost has increased from $40/year to currently $125 dollars this year. When I complained to Wells Fargo they listed all of the reasons people are charged a fee...only one applied to me..an accounting fee.
