I've been sending paper after paper to the estate processing trying to get my dad's account in order since his wife passed in July 21 it's now Feb 22 and nothing has been resolved I've been told it'll be 7 to 10 days by them for the longest 7 to 10 days known to man I would ADVISE people to stay away from wells fargo very hard to deal with all around

My dad passed and I started the process of transferring his funds. This started on December 27, 2021. I filled out the forms, got a reply that something was not filled out correctly. I fixed the one box checked and submitted it again. Rep told me it would be done shortly. Two weeks go by and nothing. I call and they say they could not see the notarized stamp clearly. WTF! This has been a horrible experience, my father in law and husband has an account here with 200,000 dollars. My father in law passed in June and we have been trying since then to access this account. No one will call us, we have mail, over nighted. Faxed and emailed the forms around 30 times we call daily on hold for over a hour at a time and then get treated horribly! My wife and I opened up three Wells Fargo Advisors accounts: one under each of our names, and one joint. The service we received was terrible, over a number of months. Wrong information was given by their agents. Paperwork was improperly processed, causing unnecessary repeat trips to branches to rectify the issue and avoid frozen access to our assets. I’ve been with Wells Fargo for a long time, 6 years ago, they persuaded me (without revealing the full information) to get into a 5 year commit investment, they did not tell me at the time that we would required to get tax extensions every year (had we been to.d, would NOT have invested) Then at the 5 year commitment period, they tell me I cannot get out of the investment (hostage situation) for 4-6 more years, we were deceived and not told ALL INFORMATION about the absolute loser of an investment of 200K, had we known we wo... read more

I will NEVER invest with Wells Fargo Clearing Services again! I started a 6 month CD in May 2020 with hopes of getting some of my money out and reinvest the rest in Nov 2020. It’s now the end of May 2021 and I still can’t get my money back. The latest story I received was that Wells Fargo Clearing Services tried to put my money into my checking account at Wells Fargo but it was rejected because they couldn’t find my account. Recently I discovered a transaction was debited to one of my Wells Fargo accounts. A disputed transaction was initiated and reported to Wells Fargo. As of this writing, no action has been taken by Wells Fargo. Previous complaint involving an other transaction was initiated and once again no action was taken by Wells Fargo.

My mother passed away in January 2021. In mid-February I contacted Wells Fargo Advisors to move her IRA to my financial institution. It took over a week for them to respond. We started the process and paperwork; I got them everything they needed. When I followed up with them, they said they didn't have one of the documents. I directed them to their own encrypted mail system to show them where I had emailed it to them...and they had confirmed receipt.
