Would ONLY go if I am planning on dying! Beaumont Royal Oak's ER is a JOKE!!! I wouldn't even take my dog to your ER! My mother have been seen in your ER several times and admitted and you have proven once again today how disorganized and incompetent you people are! Waiting in the Hallway for over 2 hours without being seen by anyone and symptomatic. Are you kidding me? Staff are very rude and to think she is one of your employees! I wonder how you treat other people then! You are a big lawsuit waiting to happen!
had my son there Not impressed. Felt like a number in a really big system. You are not allowed to labor, deliver and post partum in the same room. In fact, there is a great chance that you'll have to room in with someone else after you have the baby. Can you imagine? I paid extra, out of my pocket for a private room after I had my son and ended up with a C-Section. I found out later that they "allow" section patients to have a private room at no extra charge. Great Place to Have a Baby My wife delivered our son here about a year ago and our experience was terrific. We found all the nurses to be wonderful and helpful. The medical care was excellent and we always felt that we were in good hands.
In-Patient In situations of in-patient care, the staff seemed very neglectful to respond to calls and lacked knowledge of the care required for the specific ailment.
BEAWARE: This hospital may be hazardous to your health Be aware. Stay away from this hosptial, The staff is poorly trained with proper sterile procedures and protocol. They do not follow many guidelines of the CDC. My daughter had cancer, she spent endless periods at this hospital for over 5 years. She passed July 4th, 2008, not of cancer but of pulmonary fibrosis due to the doctors negligence. ONE NIGHT IN HELL (BEAUMONT) If you have a loved one please try to find another option to have them taken care of. We had no choice but to take our two year old to emergency last week and it was literally the worst night of my 43 years on this planet. The way that she was treated and not properly taken care of is absolutely sick. Beware of Beaumont Hospice bereavement services After my mom died, these incompetent freaks. when I called for support -- on a line for bereavement emergencies, the night my mom died, I was treated with kindness and told I could call anytime. A week or two later I had a melt down at like 1:00 am in the morning, and called the 24 hour line. an hour and a half later a woman P.M. called me and told me it was inappropriate to call for support unless it is an emergency, and that I should only call during normal business hours. Most Impressive Care! I have nothing but praises for the staff at Beaumont in Royal Oak, MI. I was having a gallbladder attack but didnât know it. They took me right in to the ER and started an IV. Even though it took a few tries to find a vein, they left no bruises. I gave a urine sample and then they administered pain medication. A mobile unit was brought in for an ultrasound test.
