Yes, the side vegetables are usually overcooked, but the salads are always fresh and it's a great place for comfort food, especially the type I grew up with in the 60s & 70s. Good, honest food with no pretense like so many other Seattle restaurants. Plus, their prices are really good compared to other places. Service is fast and the staff are always friendly and attentive.
