So happy with this place. This is my 4th year of having vision coverage. Yet Weaver eye was the first place that even mentioned frames that my insurance covered. Makes you wonder huh? I will never go anywhere else. The quality of the exams and glasses is unmatched in my opinion plus they don’t pretend that your insurance is worthless and doesn’t cover anything. My insurance covered 60% of my visit yet at other offices 20%. You know what I call that? Integrity and ethics. I’m happy when I find that.
I have been a patient of WEA for several years. More than a year ago, I had an appointment for contact lenses. Last week, I got a call that I owe $50 for the appointment that they'd overlooked for more than a year. I'm sorry but I feel like if it takes that long to discover the balance, it should be on you. I will certainly be using another eye doctor moving forward.
Business response:
We certainly apologize for any misunderstanding. One of the managers will contact you to discuss your concerns.
Just had my exam at the Dallastown office. It was my first time seeing Dr. Carl. He was great. He was thorough and explained to me why my vision was changing. The gentleman that helped me pick out my glasses made the toughest part of the appointment the easiest. I highly recommend weaver eye
My son went to Weaver, yesterday afternoon, for a foreign object in his eye and they were in a hurry to close so he was told there was nothing there and sent home without even any eye drops. Last night his eye hurt so bad, he called my wife to take him to the emergency room. The hospital said he had a divot in his eye after five hours in the emergency room. This smells like malpractice and incompetence. I would give zero stars but there isn't a rating like that.
Business response:
There seems to be a misunderstanding. The doctor will be contacting the patient soon.
