About this business
We pride ourselves in a menu that has local variety specials daily, reasonable prices and friendly staff! We bake our own rolls, bread and desserts daily too! Last July, we started making our own ice cream and the response has been grand! We look forward to serving adults and kids for years to come - we will be celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2018....stay tuned!

Yes, good homemade food! Hope to go this Sunday-pending weather. When I go I’ll be coming with two others. We come from Williston. Great staff, good food including homemade rolls. They also have a lot of homemade goodies to take home. Wish they were closer.
the staff is great. they are right on top of things immediately. the food is delicious and you can't beat the price. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any one one looking for good homemade food. it is always clean and neat.

My family has always had a tradition of going to the Wayside whenever we pass through town. Best food! Friendly staff! Never leave without a full tummy and a piece of pie.
I’m a fan of Monday’s breakfast special: creamed chipped beef on toast. (a.k.a. “S.O.S.”). Fried whole belly clams are pretty good, for Vermont.
