About this business
We pride ourselves in a menu that has local variety specials daily, reasonable prices and friendly staff! We bake our own rolls, bread and desserts daily too! Last July, we started making our own ice cream and the response has been grand! We look forward to serving adults and kids for years to come - we will be celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2018....stay tuned!

The BEST ONION RINGS !! This place is the most friendly and fun place to eat. They have the BEST onion rings around! When we arrive we ask for an order to be put in -even before we get drinks- this is a fun family friendly place to go for dinner.. and the atmosphere makes this a favorite place to eat when in VT !
Great Food-- Great Prices! This is one of our favorite places to eat with the kiddos! It has a great family atmosphere, and where else can you feed a family of four at a great price. They have the BEST rolls around!!
Wayside Restaurant & Bakery Oh you've absolutely got to try this place the next time you go to VT!!! It's a family atmosphere; friendly people; but most of all excellent, extraordinary food! Try the homemade pies! Come in both regular and sugar-free...apple, cherry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, peach, etc. Just like Mom's home cookin'! Lip smackin'
Great Food I love this place. The selection and quality of the food is fantastic. Bread on the tables, great! Real butter and not that margarine garbage. Service is great!

we asked for lemon for our water, my wife saw our waitress put the two pieces in the small bowl with her fingers. We did not use it. Also the girl doing the to go orders did not have her mask covering her nose. When she came by I told her it should cover her nose, she said she knew that. But continued looking into the to go orders and walking around the restaurant without her nose covered.
