RecommendedClassic delicious American homemade cuisine. I love the dinner rolls and bread, very convenient to get them when I have a party or gatherings. The pies are just like your grandma used to do it. My favorite ones are maple and pecan pie. Their apple pie was featured in a local tv program. Very reasonable prices and portions. The customer service is great and it’s just a staple for the Montpelier area.

RecommendedBeen going there for years. Never dissatisfied with any meal. I always have to have a doggie bag because I can't eat it all. The servings are so large and the price is always right. Especially like their fried perch from around Vermont. Be sure and try the maple cream pie. Out of this world.
RecommendedThere coffee is really good so was there over easy eggs and bacon and most of all there homemade toast of course my daughter's blueberry pancakes. Thank you Wayside Restaurant.

we had hair in our dinner tonight. waitress said oh sorry and still charged us for our hairy dinner. water had stuff floating in it. she was a terrible waitress who was more concerned with socializing then working.
RecommendedThey wayside is one of the most consistent restaurants I’ve been too, it’s simple diner style food that’s always good, they always have great specials that are really filling and really inexpensive. My only complaint is that I can’t go as often as I’d like too because it’s too far from where I live.
