Words cannot describe our Northwoods retreat...Wayfarer Lodgings an absolute gem. Every year we return multiple times, Spring, Summer & Fall. The Inkeepers, Iris & Mike ("the Plumber"), have become like family and treat us royally, as they do all of their guests. We love the multiple quaint cottages, each a little different, and all as clean as a whistle. A short stroll on a path through the Meadow and BINGO Lake Michigan awaits. Well maintained. Charming atmosphere. Great hosts. Convenient location if you have a vehicle. Note: Bathroom may be narrow for some.
We loved everything about this place. Our cute mini historic cabin with the super comfy bed. The thoughtful amenities, the beautuful sprawling property, the curious chickens. But, most of all the owners. Iris & Mike are what really make this place amazing. Such kind folks. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality. Anita & Pat Shaffer
Had a wonderful week with our family at the Wayfarer, best vacation experience and venue ever. I can't imagine a better place to experience the wonders of the Lake Michigan shoreline. I would go so far as to say, anyone who does not feel fortunate at being hosted by Mike and Iris at the Wayfarer...May something make you happy some day soon!
