Lovely property. Very charming. Close to everything the upper west coast of Michigan has to offer. 10 minute walk to a very nice beach. As shown in the picture! Keep in mind the cottages are rustic but that is obvious from their website. We loved it! We will return.
I love staying here. This was our second year in a row and we already want to come back later in the year/don’t want to leave! Iris is amazing!
We've found our perfect little "hideaway" retreat...Wayfarer Lodgings an absolute gem. Every year we return multiple times, Spring, Summer & Fall. The #1 Innkeepers, Iris & Mike have become like family and treat us royally, as they do all of their guests. Each of the multiple quaint cottages are uniquely decorated in a special theme. We fell in love with Wayfarer Lodgings on our first visit many years ago. So much so we have returned multiple times every year. From our favorite chosen cottage we take a daily stroll through the expansive meadow and down a staircase to, what at times, is our own private beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our two hosts Mike & Iris, both characters in their own right, are a hoot! After each visit we can't wait to return to what we consider our own private "Hideaway"!
