People tend to review a place mostly when they are dissatisfied with something . All restaurants can have a bad day . I have been coming to the Wausau Mine co for more years then I can recall - long before the new building opened up, and have taken many out of town family & friends there over the years. Cannot recall any of us ever having a bad meal , nothing but great food. No I do not work there and none of the owners is my relatives. Just a happy customer who will continue to return .

We were there about a week ago. Service was ok..not amazing. My husband specifically asked if we could sub a side salad for the chips that came with the pulled pork she said yes but when we got our bill she said it wasn't allowed and she had already asked the manager. The food was alright but nothing to brag about. Probably won't be returning.

The only reason I gave this place 4 stars was the service that we received. The pizza was "ehh", if you order one get pepperoni on top the cheese, otherwise it'll taste just like a big melted cheese curd. But don't let this stop you from visitin this place, every plate that went by looked amazing.
